On the centenary of the birth of the artist Wladimiro Tulli, which took place on 4 September 1922, the Municipality of Macerata and the Department of Culture pay homage to one of the most illustrious personalities of the Macerata art scene with an important retrospective that focuses on his extraordinary artistic adventure: “Wladimiro Tulli. Vitalisms “.

The exhibition, curated by Paola Ballesi and Giuliana Pascucci, documents the entire arc of Tulli’s artistic activity with iconic works that have marked the fundamental steps: 42 paintings, 17 ceramics and two sculptures, as well as an appendix inside of the permanent collection of the ‘900 set up with works owned by the Museum and by collectors who appreciated and enjoyed his inexhaustible creative flair.

From Thursday 14 April until 26 June, the exhibition will be hosted in the temporary rooms of the eighteenth-century Palazzo Buonaccorsi.

An exhibition strongly desired by the Municipality of Macerata which for the celebrations also sees the Municipalities of Recanati at its side with the exhibition “Tulli per Giacomo”, Civitanova Marche with “Wladimiro Tulli: riding dreams” and the Carima Foundation with “Futuro interior” , and, with the collaboration of his daughter Carla and his brother Piero Alberto, pays homage to one of the great Macerata artists of the 20th century as well as to one of the “last of the Futurists”.

With the support of the Marche region to the Macerata master, a general catalog of the events of Macerata, Civitanova Marche and Recanati was also dedicated, published by the Quodlibet publishing house and edited by Paola Ballesi and Carla Tulli and which collects the contributions of various curators and well-known critics. .
